Thank You Anne and Gunther from CO...Our Wonderful Secret Pals!!

This month was the big reveal for our secret pal exchange. Our fabulous pals were Anne and Gunther from CO. Thank you for the great gifts this month. All of the Dora dolls are so cute. We are so excited about the National Geographic China book. Hopefully we can learn a lot about our girly's birthplace from it when we finally find out who she is and where she is from. The calendar has such beautiful pictures.
We can't begin to express how thankful we are to have had such great secret pals. This has been so much fun and we are so appreciative. We dream of coming to CO some day to Sam Bush's Telluride bluegrass festival. Maybe we could meet up and enjoy some great pickin' together with our girls. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be lucky enough to travel together to get our girls. That would be nice but I bet you guys will see Alexandra's face before the end of this month!!! We're keeping of fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you too.
Thank you again. We appreciate you guys so much!

Thank You Secret Pal!!!

As this great secret pal exchange comes to an end, our secret pal pulls out all the stops and sends this mother load of gifts.

We love everything. The books are really cool with little stiff spongy critters and things that pop out to reveal some other critter and things underneath...kinda like a puzzle. Tons of scrapbook stickers that I'll be using to create wonderful pages about our girly. That awesome "color wonder" messless finger paint and paper will be a hit around here. And some fall cookie cutters and Wilton sprinkles to decorate the cookies with. Also, the really, really cute good luck ladybug.

We just love all of your thoughtfulness throughout this long, long wait. We have looked forward to your gifts every month. And without fail you have come through with flying colors. We feel so fortunate to have you as our secret pals. We understand that some in our group have not been so fortunate with their secret pal and we are so glad to have you. We can't wait to find out who has been so kind to us next month.
Thank you again!
It was nearly impossible to get these pictures of our great gifts. We still haven't replaced our camera and the old one is crap. Here is an example of what the pics usually look like with the old cyber-shot.

I took 26 pictures to get the two decent ones above. I say decent because If you could see them closely they're pretty much crap too.

Thank You Secret Pal!!

Thank you again to our great secret pal! We love the travel items and the bonus picture frame. The frame is really super cute with all of the little critters and flowers on it. We will hang the neon luggage tags right on our luggage and it should be very easy to spot ours with those bright tags. Those nalgene bottles will get a ton of use. We love to camp and use those kinds of bottles a lot. I also do a lot of sewing but do not have a travel sewing kit. That too will come in awfully handy.
I am sad that this secret pal exchange will be coming to an end soon. We look forward to your great gifts every month. But we are also looking forward to our girly too. We can't wait to find out who you are. Maybe we'll end up being travel buds!
Thanks again!!

Thank You Secret Pal!!

Our secret pal has struck again. Look at these super cute patriotic shirts and sockies.
Thak you secret pal, for the really cute stuff. And how smart are you sending two different sizes? You are right. Surely they will fit some July 4th.

Thank You Secret Pal!!

Not only do I have the t-shirt to prove that I am a Ma Ma, but now Mike has the t-shirt to prove that he is a Ba Ba. The CD of children's songs is great. Their little voices sound like they are coming straight from heaven. After listening to the disk it took is place right beside of the Curious George sound track on baby girl's book shelf.
As you can see, we are back in the camera business...thank goodness!!
Thank you again for the wonderful gifts. You are never a pain! LOL...

Thank You Secret Pal!!! (the long version)

First of all, yes I finally did received this package but not without much ado. We were out of town. We got back on Sunday night and rarely use our front door. Monday I went out to the grocery store and when I came home I drove by the front of the house. I saw a sticky note on there and wondered what in the world had UPS tried to deliver. I hadn't ordered anything, Mike said that he hadn't either. I called the 800 number and it said that I could pick it up Monday thru Friday 9am-7pm. There was no more info on the web. So, Tuesday I got up and went to town to get the mystery package and the damn place is closed from 11-12 and of course it's like 11:10. Now, town is no where near where we live or where I was going and I had things to do and had to work so I needed to get home to sleep (I work 12 hour night shifts). I worked Tuesday night, UPS is not too far from where I work so I thought I would just go when I got off work. Wrong..They don't open until 9 and I get off of work usually between 7:30 and 8 am. There was no way I could stay up that long and still drive myself home because on Tuesday before I tried to sleep I had to check my email and found that the May In Touch was available. Needless to say, like most all of us waiting on our kiddos, the info in the In touch sent me into a deep dark depression and angry spiral of sleeplessness. By 7 am on Wednesday I had been awake for nearly 24 hours and busting butt taking care of those wonderful premie babies for 12 of those hours. Finally, yesterday evening I left early for work and went to UPS. They were open and they smiled and handed me my package. I saw that it was from ChinaSprout and was so excited and already started crying in my car. I had an idea that it might be from you guys because I couldn't think of anyone else it could be from. I opened the package and read the card and looked at my shirt and held it to my face and cried and cried. I was almost late for work.

Will I ever be a Ma Ma like my new shirt says?

I said all of that to say this...THANK YOU!!! Your gift was the only Mother's Day gift that I received because I'm not a mother, but yearn so badly to be able to celebrate that day. The tee shirt gives me hope. I wouldn't own a Ma Ma shirt if I was not a Ma Ma, right? One part of me wants to wear that shirt everyday to proclaim that I am a Mom. Another part of me wants to hide it for fear of embarrassment. I'm afraid someone will say, "why are you wearing that Ma Ma shirt? Your not a Mom".
I loved the puzzle too. It's really cool. Thank you so much for always being so thoughtful. And thank you for knowing that I will be a Ma Ma someday.
